I was born and raised in Turin — a city the rest of the world overlooks and one I have spent years living and then helping the right people discover properly.

After moving abroad and building a career internationally, I kept finding myself doing the same thing: briefing colleagues and their networks before their trips to northern Italy. Not with generic tips, but with the specific knowledge that comes from growing up in a place — the restaurants that don’t advertise, the right table in each one of them, and what to order when you get there.

Everyone came back saying the same thing: this was the Italy they had always hoped to find.
